Project Overview

The Macon Terminal Station is a state-of-the-art, downtown inter-modal transportation facility designed to link various modes of ground transportation into a central hub and provide affordable and efficient transportation alternatives. The main terminal Waiting Room has been renovated to accommodate the Bus Waiting and Transfer Point for the Macon Transit Authority and the rear portion of the building has been reserved for future rail service. In addition to the MTA administrative offices, the building houses several local and state agencies including the Department of Driver Services. The Conference Room on the fourth floor has been redesigned to not only provide a place for board meetings but also for use as a multi-purpose space for seminars and private functions.
