Description

The Bibb-County Courthouse has undergone numerous renovations since the current building was constructed in 1924.  The most recent renovation is the first since the consolidation of the former City of Macon and Bibb Counties.  Many of the former county administrative offices moved to Government Center, which opened up significant space for much-needed expansion of:

• State Court Judges & Clerks Offices and a future courtroom, State Court Solicitor’s Office (Annex & Grand Opera Office Building)
• Superior Court Jury Assembly
• Civil / Magistrate Court lobby, offices & courtroom
• Probate Court Offices
