Project Overview
BTBB assisted InFill Housing, Inc. in preparing a redevelopment scheme for Tindall Heights, a 28-acre public housing project constructed in the 1940’s era. The planning involved total demolition of all existing buildings and complete redevelopment of the site to integrate it into the surrounding neighborhoods. The Conceptual Site Plan reintroduces much of the original pre-1940 street grid that was destroyed to create the public housing superblock.
This initial phase included a 76-unit Senior Development with one or two bedrooms in two, three-story wings. The wings are connected by the Community Building that includes a meeting space, fitness center, computer center, and gathering space.
