Situated close to Macon’s Carolyn Crayton (formerly Central City) Park, in an emerging industrial district, this 82-apartment workforce housing project was completed in 2024.
The three-building complex features street-facing facades along Lower Walnut, Lower Mulberry, and Seventh Streets that honor the materiality of old Macon’s brick. The parking lot-facing facades provide the warmth of softer materials reminiscent of home.
One of the ground floor suites features a Respite Center for homeless individuals to be recuperated in body and soul. This center is the first of its kind in the United States built in conjunction with a housing project.
